Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least one year of recent ED experience and a valid NC or compact license for a travel position in an emergency care center.
Responsibilities- Work in an Emergency Care Center within a hospital setting
- Position is for 12-hour day shifts from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM
- Cares for emergency department patient population
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from facility
- Duties include providing emergency nursing care for diverse, high-acuity patients
- Scrub and dress code requirements follow hospital standards
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as scheduled
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in the emergency department
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), CPI (or approved alternatives such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and TNCC certifications required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional references required: two for Florida/Missouri, one for other states
