Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ER experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Position involves providing emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Must be able to respond effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced trauma environments
- Compliance with hospital-specific PPE and vaccination requirements may be necessary
- Candidates are expected to follow the hospital's dress code and professional standards
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- CPI or an accepted equivalent crisis prevention certification required
- TNCC certification required for ER nurses
- PALS certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
- References required based on state (two for FL and MO, one for others)
- Local candidates within a 50 mile radius will not be considered
