Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ER experience.

• Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Position involves providing emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Must be able to respond effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced trauma environments
• Compliance with hospital-specific PPE and vaccination requirements may be necessary
• Candidates are expected to follow the hospital's dress code and professional standards

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• CPI or an accepted equivalent crisis prevention certification required
• TNCC certification required for ER nurses
• PALS certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• References required based on state (two for FL and MO, one for others)
• Local candidates within a 50 mile radius will not be considered
