Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Healthcare Job in Asheville, NC

  Locum tenens (Travel RN contract)

  January 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,120 - $2,180
• On-Call: 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts every 6 weeks, plus 1 night call per week
• Dress Code:
  Surgical scrubs provided

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of in-hospital Endoscopy nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Flexible scheduling (block scheduling not available)
• Preferred:
  Pulmonary procedural experience
• Experience with Olympus scopes/processors and Cerner/Provation EMR is a plus

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Endoscopy unit, including Pre-Op, Procedure, and PACU areas
• Assist with advanced procedures: EBUS, Bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, Colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR as needed (with prior experience)
• Demonstrate adaptability and self-motivation in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
