Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift position in a Surgical Trauma ICU with a North Carolina or compact RN license required.
Responsibilities- Position is in a Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 6:45PM to 7:15AM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients
- Responsible for delivering critical care to surgical and trauma patients in the ICU
- Team-based environment with multidisciplinary collaboration
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs
- No exceptions to radius rule and required documentation
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent STICU or ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth must be provided for consideration
- At least one professional reference required
- Candidates must not have any employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility; local candidates not accepted
