Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a STICU position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU)
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients in an intensive care hospital setting
- Provide care to critically ill patients with multisystem trauma or surgical needs
- Expect to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary ICU team
- Holiday coverage may be required as part of the schedule
- All certifications must be current and not expire within the first 30 days of the contract
- Active NC or compact state RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent ICU or STICU nursing experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Two professional references required for Florida and Missouri licenses; all other states require one
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
