RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

• Patient ratios: PICU 1 RN to 1-2 patients, Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patients

• Must work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule

• Self-scheduling available

• Dress code requires all navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops

• Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed

• Use Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system

• HUC works 9-9, tech is shared with PICU

• Minimum 1 year PICU experience required

• PALS certification required

• Perform procedures including IV starts, catheter insertions, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management

• Assist with lumbar punctures
