Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift position in the Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) requiring a compact RN license and ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) of a hospital setting
- Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Patient population includes surgical and trauma ICU cases
- Role involves providing critical care to surgical and trauma patients in a high-acuity unit
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as needed
- Specific documentation will be requested during onboarding as part of the compliance process
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- A minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through AHA or ARC
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- Must provide valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- At least one professional reference required (Florida and Missouri require two)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
