Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Telemetry position requiring a NC or compact license and NIH Stroke certification.
Responsibilities- Work on the Neuro Med/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes neurological and telemetry patients
- Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 13-week assignment
- Responsibilities include comprehensive care for neurology and telemetry patients
- Night shift schedule requires adaptability to overnight work environment
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent specialty experience required
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in neuro/telemetry strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must be able to supply US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or longer in the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
