Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring a current NC or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Responsibilities- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital setting
- Provides care for critically ill and premature neonates
- Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- 13-week travel contract
- Care for a variety of critical conditions specific to neonates in a high-acuity environment
- Compliance with hospital credentialing and documentation requirements is mandatory
- Standard team structure in a collaborative NICU setting
- First-time travelers are eligible for consideration
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent NICU experience
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required (Advanced 9th Edition)
- AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with valid certification at least 30 days beyond start
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No work history gaps exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
- Must provide professional references as required by the state
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; no local candidates accepted
