Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring a current NC or compact RN license and NRP certification.

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital setting
• Provides care for critically ill and premature neonates
• Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week travel contract
• Care for a variety of critical conditions specific to neonates in a high-acuity environment
• Compliance with hospital credentialing and documentation requirements is mandatory
• Standard team structure in a collaborative NICU setting
• First-time travelers are eligible for consideration

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent NICU experience
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required (Advanced 9th Edition)
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with valid certification at least 30 days beyond start
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No work history gaps exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
• Must provide professional references as required by the state
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; no local candidates accepted
