Job Summary and QualificationsThe director is responsible for the overall development of a Magnet level professional practice environment in which high quality nursing care can be provided throughout the Mission Health Division. Provides expert consultation to the nursing leadership team in areas related to standards of practice, quality management, process improvement, professional development, nursing education, nursing research and regulatory compliance related to practice. The director facilitates a culture of excellence through the development of supportive infrastructure, comprehensive quality management systems, development of collaborative partnerships and program evaluation.
The director collaborates with the Market CNO in supporting division facilities professional practice environment and pursuit of ANCC magnet or pathway to Excellence designations. Actively participates by assisting in the ongoing achievement of the division’s strategic objectives. Demonstrates a service-oriented approach committed to excellence in internal operating systems and leads organizational change. Above all, this position serves to exceed the expectations of patients and all other customers we serve.
Required
Education:
BSN and Masters Degree in Nursing or related field. If the bachelor’s degree is not in Nursing, MSN is required.
Preferred Education:
Master’s in Nursing and PHD/DNP in Nursing or related field.
