Unit: 101-bed Emergency Department | EMR:
Cerner Ratios:
Typically 4:1 (medical); up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds Support/Equipment:
Techs (monitoring/processing/triage), unit clerks days & nights | Baxter pumps, GE monitors

Schedule:

Every other weekend; no block scheduling (schedule based on department needs) Floating:
No floating outside ED, but must float to all ED sections Patient

Experience:

AIDET, respectful communication, keep patients/boards updated Experience

Required:

2 years nursing with 1+ year ER; teamwork mindset, able to coach/give real-time feedback; flexibility across ED areas Preferred:
Level II trauma + comprehensive stroke center + high-volume ED (>100k visits) and prior HCA experience Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS required before start; ENPC within 90 days
