Experienced Baker – Production Team (Growth Opportunity)

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Baker to join our production team at a respected and growing wholesale bread manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of commercial baking experience who is eager to grow within a focused, quality-driven operation.

We are a small but expanding bakery dedicated exclusively to high-quality bread production—no sweets, no distractions. Our team values craftsmanship, consistency, and a supportive, family-oriented workplace culture.

Position Overview

As a member of our production department, you will play an active role in large-scale bread production. This position is ideal for a baker with a solid understanding of scratch baking fundamentals who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

You will work alongside a seven-person production team, contributing across multiple stages of production including mixing, dough processing, proofing, baking, and bench work. Prior experience will be utilized and expanded as you progress into more skilled production functions.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial or large-scale baking experience
  • Strong understanding of bread-making fundamentals
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Preferred Experience
  • Mixing operations
  • Rack or deck oven operation
  • Bench work (rounding, shaping, scaling)
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Key Responsibilities
  • Apply bread-making fundamentals consistently in a production environment
  • Work across multiple bread lines and dough types
  • Learn and follow established production flow and timing
  • Rotate through production functions with competence and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area
  • Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
  • Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and collaboration with the goal of advancement
