Schedule: M-F: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Estimated every other Saturday 2:00pm - 10:30pm

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to perform machine operation and integration according to the production schedule. This role involves providing effective training to other Machine Operators and personnel while ensuring that safety and quality standards are maintained.
A Day in the Life- Read and interpret drawings while conducting visual inspections of sheet metal products.
- Participate in flexing and cross‑training to enhance team effectiveness.
- Engage in resolving production challenges and making informed process decisions.
- Assist in the selection and/or setup of specialized equipment.
- Perform a wide variety of troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
- Operate Press Brake equipment, CNC punch presses, Fiber Optic lasers, and Haeger Pem machines.
- Follow audit and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three to six months of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
- Background in precision mechanical operation and low volume, complex manufacturing processes preferred.
- Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully working in a team of 8-10 colleagues.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Proficient in reading a tape measure, calipers, or other measuring devices; ability to learn quickly.
- Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively.
- Self‑motivated and a self‑starter with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with success in partnering with colleagues from diverse cultural, language, and educational backgrounds.
