Job SummaryAs a Manufacturing Operator / Manufacturing Process Associate, you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and/or packaging of Bio Process Containers in a clean room environment. The role involves executing production activities by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and blueprints or drawings related to assembly, material handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging. This position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manually assemble tubing and connectors used in the medical industry
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, SOPs, work instructions, and product blueprints
- Manufacture bags in accordance with SOPs and customer requirements
- Use tape measures to build products to specification
- Complete and maintain accurate GMP documentation
- Perform visual inspections on in-process and finished products and escalate issues when necessary
- Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
- Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced production environment
- Participate in Lean Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to perform repetitive work duties
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled clean room environment
- Ability to wear required clean room gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand, move, reach, bend, stoop, grasp, push, and pull
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment, including forceful gripping and grasping
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic maths
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining product quality
