The Overnight Cleaner will maintain and clean assigned areas (rooms, public areas, employee areas) at the Inn on Biltmore Estate during the 3rd shift while offering exceptional guest service. Duties include upkeep and presentation of rooms, bathrooms, hallways, employee areas, pool area, terraces, verandas, fitness center, etc.; deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, polishing furniture, and sanitizing.

Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (3rd shift). Weekend shifts are a requirement.

Base pay: $16.32 per hour + $2.00 3rd shift differential = $18.32 per hour.

• Clean assigned areas in accordance with departmental standards, maintaining exceptional detail and proper use of all chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Properly clean floors by dusting, mopping, removing stains, and vacuuming.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass in public areas; keep carts stocked and clean.
• Provide proper care and cleaning of furniture by dusting, polishing, or removing stains.
• Maintain cleanliness and care of elevators and sanitation of drinking fountains.
• Clean and replenish all guest and staff bathrooms, while removing and maintaining trash receptacles.
• Maintain, clean, and replenish fitness center area.
• Keep pool area clean, safe, and linens replenished for guests.
• Clean, sift, and maintain attractive and safe ash-urns in guest and staff outdoor areas.
• Sweep, fill, and organize outdoor areas including veranda, entrance, and terraces.

• Previous experience in a custodial/janitorial/housekeeping position, preferably in upscale/luxury hotel or resort.
• Commitment to delivering world‑class guest service and ability to work successfully as part of a dynamic team.
• Outstanding attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time‑management skills with a focus on quality.
• Ability to safely handle small commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, solutions, and treatments.
• Proactive, able to anticipate, address, and troubleshoot as appropriate.
• Ability to anticipate and understand guest needs.
• Ability to work independently and under deadlines, exercising good judgment and prioritizing work.

• Lift, carry, push, and pull 25–50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Endure various physical movements throughout shift such as kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching overhead, etc.
• Work in environments with variable conditions and noise levels.
• Work in outdoor environments with temperature and weather fluctuations.
• Exposure to fumes, dust, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.

• Perform above duties during the 3rd shift.
