Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go, and maintaining a positive attitude will help ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

The base pay range is $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Maintain safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling and disposal of hazardous materials, following company standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Clean all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, and methods, using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.

• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression by maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and support a high-quality guest experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (schedule, facility, season, or work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
