Overview
Senior HR Generalist – Asheville, NC – Full-Time – Salaried – On-site position at Broad River Rehabilitation (Arden corporate office).
Job SummaryResponsible for providing comprehensive support to the Human Resources Department in the areas of reporting, employee relations, compliance, and other related duties. The HR Generalist will perform duties while ensuring compliance with Broad River Rehabilitation policies and procedures, as well as all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Major Responsibilities (not limited to)- Reports to/performs duties in the work area(s) on a consistent and predictable basis during assigned work schedule(s).
- Prepare and generate HR reports from our systems of record (ADP and Net Health), including HR metrics and trends; present reports to Senior Leadership.
- Assist BRR HR staff in onboarding, compliance reporting and benefits administration.
- Conduct basic employee relations investigations and assist the HR Director on more complex investigations.
- Prepare and report regulatory and employment information to agencies, staff members, and managers via websites, email, or other required methods.
- Recommend process improvements in coordination with HR leadership to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as the point of contact for third-party agreements (including traveling therapists and school affiliations). Assist the Onboarding Manager with onboarding of contractor therapists.
- Assist callers and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide backup duties for other HR team members as needed.
- Perform other clerical duties as requested by HR leadership.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Human Resources
- Demonstrate proficiency in ADP
- Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must possess the ability to complete duties in an accurate, efficient, timely, and pleasant manner while experiencing multiple interruptions
- Acute attention to detail
Preferred:
- Previous Human Resources Generalist experience with a healthcare company
- HR Certifications with SHRM and/or HRCI
Employees must ensure compliance with all BRR policies and procedures, as well as all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to protected personal and health information. All records, information and materials pertaining to employees, financial and business operations of Broad River Rehabilitation LLC are considered highly confidential and must be maintained as such.
Physical RequirementsThe majority of the job is performed in a normal office environment. Work may require sitting for extended periods, also walking, standing, bending, stooping and stretching for supplies. Occasional lifting and transporting files and/or materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Vision and hearing must be correctable to within normal range. Sufficient manual dexterity is necessary for keyboarding and operation of various office equipment.
It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods of time and to work in an environment which can be stressful.
