Job Description

Ensure proper training and supervision of all staff to deliver prompt, courteous service in line with Omni Food & Beverage standards, and company policies. Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Answer the phone within three rings.
  • Assist with weekly payroll and scheduling.
  • Conduct daily and monthly inventories.
  • Audit associates on Moments of Service Standards regularly.
  • Ensure proper tray set‑up procedures.
  • Monitor guest‑room floors for smooth operations.
  • Participate in menu planning and room‑service specials.
  • Promote room‑service sales.
  • Respond to guest feedback appropriately.
  • Create and enhance amenities for sales promotion.
  • Perform cashier duties when required.
  • Examine food and beverage preparation.
  • Interview and train new associates.
  • Encourage upselling through prepared scenarios.
  • Provide approximate delivery times for orders.
  • Prepare payment of checks.
  • Know the food menu and wine list.
  • Adhere to all liability laws.
  • Print reports at shift end and bank out.
  • Maintain, stock, and order product.
Qualifications
  • Previous Food & Beverage experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Leadership, development, and training skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Problem‑solving skills preferred.
  • TIPS certification required.
