Join Kessler Collection as a Banquet Server to set up and serve guests at all banquet functions, providing friendly, courteous, and professional service in line with hotel standards.

• Prepare banquet spaces and serve guests promptly and efficiently.
• Read the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and understand the menu for each function.
• Serve guests according to hotel standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Respond to guest problems, complaints, and incidents; communicate to management if necessary.
• Set all tables according to hotel standards.
• Maintain the banquet storeroom in a neat and orderly manner, stocked with necessary supplies.
• Clean up banquet space after the function; store and re-stock equipment and supplies properly.
• Prepare room according to BEO and the various meal functions.
• Follow all money handling procedures when serving guests.
• Know the menu items for each function and provide accurate descriptions.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or 20 pounds regularly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective listening, understanding, and clarifying of concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner.
• Handle problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving as necessary.
• Show initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs.
