Role

Summary:

Performs and assists with general basic life support patient care. Assumes responsibility for the operation and maintenance of emergency vehicles.

Required

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required License:

• North Carolina EMT certification, completes and maintains continuing education or recertification class as required by NC OEMS.
• North Carolina drivers license and must meet insurance guidelines Must have a valid NC driver’s license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience, and
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.

Preferred Experience: Two years of full-time active pre-hospital care or equivalent and emergency vehicle driving
