Job Summary And Qualifications
As an MRI Technologist, you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. - You will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner
- You will exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
- You will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures/skills for all age groups served
- You will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretation
- You may need to lift patients or assist in lifting them on and off the exam table to position for appropriately for procedures
- You will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertise
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (MRI) or registry eligible
- Current state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in MRI preferred
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
