Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW / LCMHC / LMFT)

We are seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide counseling services and support to clients in a clinical setting in Asheville, NC.

The licensed therapist is responsible for counseling clients, helping them gain access to resources and assisting them in confronting issues that negatively affect their lives such as poverty, abuse, mental health, and substance use.

• Performs diagnostic assessments.
• Interviews individuals and groups to assess needs and develops response plans.
• Provides information and referrals for counseling and service acquisition.
• Consults with primary care providers.
• Initiates treatment interventions (individual, family, group counseling, crisis intervention).
• Assists clients in accepting situations that cannot be changed.
• Documents client interactions and referrals.
• Makes home visits as needed.
• Charts and maintains notes promptly.
• Participates in data collection and report compilation.
• Completes statistical reports with accuracy.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures.
• Protects confidentiality, complies with HIPAA laws.

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Clinical Licensure (LCSW / LCMHC / LMFT)
• 2+ years in a clinical setting
