ACTT Clinical Team Lead (LCSW / LCMHC)

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours (40 hours/week)

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)

The ACTT Program

The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) is a multidisciplinary, community-based model serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who are at high risk for psychiatric crisis and impacted by complex social determinants of health. Services are delivered primarily in the community and focus on psychiatric care, therapy, substance use support, vocational services, and housing stability.

Position Summary

The ACTT Clinical Program Supervisor provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for the ACTT program in Asheville, NC. This role partners closely with psychiatric providers and program leadership to ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented services. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on clinical work in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the ACTT program in collaboration with psychiatric providers
  • Supervise, support, and manage a multidisciplinary ACTT team, including clinical operations and scheduling
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of services, including case management, individual, group, and family therapy
  • Participate actively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to treatment planning and discharge planning
  • Facilitate clear communication among staff, clients, families, referral sources, and community partners
  • Maintain strong working relationships with referral sources, stakeholders, payors, and TMACT representatives
  • Support compliance with ACTT fidelity standards, regulatory requirements, and Pyramid Healthcare policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall program success
Required Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina clinical license (or eligibility), including one of the following:
    • LCSW
    • LCMHC
    • Licensed Psychological Associate
    • Licensed Psychologist
    • Advanced Practice Nurse / PMHNP
    • Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience
  • Prior experience supervising or managing behavioral health or substance use services
  • Strong understanding of community-based, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed care models
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Previous ACTT or intensive community-based treatment experience
  • Demonstrated leadership within multidisciplinary clinical teams
