The position of Licensed Clinical Therapist calls for a licensed professional clinician with direct experience and skill in treating a range of behavioral health issues. It requires the ability to assess and treat co-occurring disorders including mental illness, personality disorders, and challenges in primary or secondary support systems. The position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate includes active engagement and coordination of care with internal resources including psychiatry and community support as well as external bodies including the legal system, families, and social support agencies.

The individual must be an active and positive member of the clinical team. Based on setting, special skills and/or work with specific populations will be required. This role relies on knowledge, experience, and judgment to provide quality services with very little supervision and direction. Must hold a license issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession. Some services may require additional experience, licensure, or education.

Responsibilities
  • Providing crisis therapy to individuals and families as needed for up to 8 weeks following a crisis event.
  • Supporting the family in the development of skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management.
  • Working with a team of 6-7 clinicians, QPs and Family Partners to provide quality interventions and support to children and their families.
  • Participating in a first responder on-call system available to children, families and their natural support network between 8am–11pm; coordinating “first response” resources.
Schedule and Compensation

Schedule:

Varies and is determined by clinician but will include evening work. Rotating on-call to cover emergent situations from 8a-11p, 7 days per week.

Pay Rate: $55,000-$58,000 annually

$5,000 sign-on bonus

Education, Licensure, and Experience

Must meet the requirements of a LCSW, LCMHC, LCSWA, LCMHCA.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.

Clinical Social Worker Associate Role

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with RHA, you will coordinate and monitor the array of services and supports identified in each service user’s person-centered plan. These interventions are strength-based and focus on recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning. You will report to the Clinical Director and may manage two or more employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a Clinical Social Worker with RHA, responsibilities vary by group and program. You will coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help service users, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Running individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions
  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and making service recommendations; conducting consumer screening and orientation
  • Conducting inpatient group therapy sessions
  • Orienting new service users to RHA
