1. Assess and evaluate clients experiencing symptoms of a behavioral health disorder.
2. Analyze and evaluate patient data/information and test or examine findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorder(s).3. Prescribe, and/or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
4. Collaborate with clinical team to discuss treatment plans and progress.
5. Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained via self-report, relatives, and other professionals.
6. Counsel’s patients during appointment, as necessary.
7. Design/participate in the development of individualized treatment plans, using a variety of treatments.
8. Examine or order laboratory or diagnostic tests for patients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.
9. Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, reports, and summaries into agency EMR.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.## Qualifications
1. Master’s Degree in Nursing.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in substance abuse program.
3. Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner License
4. Knowledge, experience and/or training in evidence-based treatments.
5. Experience in organizing work and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
6. Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.
7. Experience working with adults with substance use disorder, preferred.
8. Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.
9. Maintains all necessary trainings & certifications.
