Full-Time Medical Assistant
Mercy Urgent Care is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to perform triage duties for patients, assist the medical provider with preparations, perform front desk duties, and increase the efficiency of the treatment process to ensure we keep our promise to Put Patients First.
This is a full-time position and will be eligible for benefits, paid time off (PTO), and retirement options.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of experience with direct patient contact, strong computer skills, ability to multitask, strong organization skills, accuracy and attention to detail, knowledge of and adherence to healthcare safety regulations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. CNA or MA certification strongly preferred, but not required.
The Successful Medical Assistant- Demonstrates sound knowledge of the safety and legal requirements in the healthcare setting, and adheres to all requirements at all times.
- Works as a team with coworkers in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining courtesy and professionalism at all times.
- Understands and follows proper procedures when performing tasks requiring specific protocols.
- Possesses a positive attitude, is inquisitive, takes initiative to do what’s best for patients at all times, anticipates issues before they occur, seeks proactive solutions, adapts quickly.
- Exercises compassion and empathy at all times in the workplace.
- Possesses and demonstrates integrity at all times.
