Job Summary And Qualifications

Provides efficient oversight of daily assigned modality (s) operations, appropriate staffing, and patient care processes. Acts as a role model for service excellence. Ensures continuous improvements in quality departmental services. Organizes and assists with training of staff, new hires, and student internships. Affects patient outcomes by safely performing imaging studies. Demonstrates appropriate modality screening procedures while maintaining the safety of patients, visitors, and staff that enter the imaging areas/suites.

Knowledgeable of equipment and supplies needed to ensure appropriate imaging. Coordinates effective schedules by organizing departmental resources and coordinating with key stakeholders. Demonstrates stewardship in regard to financial resources.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Required Experience:

    Experience as a registered technologist working in a multi-disciplined Imaging Department. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, leadership skills, skills managing quality improvement and staff productivity.
  • Preferred Experience:

    3 years of imaging supervisory experience in multi-disciplined Imaging Department. Clinical experience with current technology for imaging department and associated specialty services provided by the department.
  • Required

    Education:

    Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology.
  • Preferred Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree healthcare or related field
  • Required License:
    Must be ARRT registered in primary modality supervising.
  • Preferred License:
    Advanced modality registry
  • Required Certification: BLS
