The Elite Stylist engages guests, consults on hair care, recommends products and services, supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager. Focus on performance, people, and process.

• Perform hair services: design, haircuts, color, texture, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blows, keratin, extensions, makeup, ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed a weekly sales goal of $1,900 and productivity goals by delivering exceptional guest service.
• Perform product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Support in‑store events, promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products and services.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently.
• Partner with skin therapists and retail team for total‑store experience.
• Foster peer and brand partner relationships.
• Share benefits of loyalty program and Ulta Beauty app.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings.

• Be knowledgeable and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies and standards.
• Follow safety, sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Follow established service protocols for consistent guest experience.
• Use booking and clientele systems for return services and events.
• Communicate supply needs to Experience Manager.
• Maintain store operational standards and cleanliness.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty dress code.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• Cosmetology license.
• Previous relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques; aptitude to develop skills in all service categories.
• Proficiency with equipment and chemicals needed for technical work.
• Ability to demonstrate, recommend and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Developed communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and clientele.

• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Continuous mobility during shift.
• Continuous lifting and moving up to 10 lbs during shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting during shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shift.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.
