• This role is responsible for the organization, direction, and controls of all aspects of the plant and/or divisional accounting and financial functions, including timely and accurate reporting to Amcor in full compliance with US GAAP and Amcor policies.
• Lead analysis of financial information to support effective business decisions, develop and interpret financial information, and support a single location (with potential direct reports).
• Support the Business Unit by providing training on systems and financial processes, ensuring a high standard of controllership across all plants. Focus on interpreting results and making recommendations to Plant, Sales and Business Unit Leadership, with an emphasis on change leadership and out performance.
• Own the Plant P&L, inventory (working capital), annual budget, month and quarterly forecasts, and provide explanations of actual results versus estimates.
• Prepare and analyze material usage, cost statements, P&L statements, manufacturing statistics, labor analysis, and sales analysis; perform balance sheet analysis for key accounts and oversee reconciliations.
• Analyze operating and financial results to identify trends and recommend operational or financial changes to improve performance.
• Contribute to Site/BU commercial excellence using profitability tools and providing strategic guidance on customer profit performance and trends.
• Provide analysis and commentary for decision-making support; ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, DOA and SOX.
• Influence and partner with plant leadership to drive performance; act as a safety leader and promote a safety-first environment.
• Execute human capital processes including goal setting, performance reviews, planning, and career development for direct reports (if applicable) and/or as a leadership team member in the plant; train and develop the financial acumen of plant leadership.

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience – 5+ years in manufacturing finance; 3+ years of leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
• Superior analytical and communication skills
