Our client is implementing Appian to deliver process automation and requires a professional who can drive testing, deployment, and development support. The role will strengthen delivery quality, establish documentation and training foundations, and serve as an Appian subject-matter resource for the organization.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $60.00 to $75.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Develop unit tests for applications built on the Appian platform.
- Create comprehensive test plans for Appian-based projects.
- Learn and utilize administrative features of the Appian platform.
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality and standards adherence.
- Handle the deployment process for Appian applications.
- Create a SharePoint documentation site for project artifacts.
- Develop initial training materials for users and stakeholders.
- Learn to develop solutions on the Appian platform and apply best practices.
- Participate in daily stand-ups with the Appian team.
- Assist with development of the main project and lead smaller projects independently.
- Serve as the in-house technical expert on Appian development.
- Experience creating unit tests and comprehensive test plans for low-code platforms such as Appian.
- Experience with Appian platform administration and development fundamentals.
- Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing development standards.
- Experience managing deployments and release processes.
- Experience creating documentation in SharePoint and developing training materials.
- Experience collaborating within Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups.
