The criteria for evaluating a candidate’s presentation skills include content, delivery, engagement, technical knowledge, and teaching effectiveness.

Job Description SummaryThis position provides instruction and advising for students seeking certification and short-term training in the Economic & Workforce Development Department and the Advanced Manufacturing Center. The Machining Instructor provides in-person, hands-on instruction for students and industry partners, supporting pre-hire training, post-hire upskilling, and incumbent worker development in machining and advanced manufacturing. The role designs and delivers industry-aligned curriculum that meets employer, workforce, and safety requirements.
This position guarantees a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 129 hours per month. Instructional hours are paid, and preparation and curriculum development are expected as part of the role, included in the higher instructional rate.
