Position Summary

The Parsons Math Lab at UNC Asheville is UNC Asheville’s primary resource for Math assistance. This includes assistance to students in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, and other STEM & quantitative disciplines. During a typical semester, 1 in 6 students will visit the Math Lab for on-the-spot assistance with an average of 6-7 visits per semester. The breadth and depth of academic assistance requires dedicated and experienced staff in mathematics instruction.
