This is a 30 hours per week position, 11 months per year with the month of July off. Typical University hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Parsons Math Lab at UNC Asheville is UNC Asheville’s primary resource for Math assistance. This includes assistance to students in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, and other STEM & quantitative disciplines. During a typical semester, 1 in 6 students will visit the Math Lab for on-the-spot assistance with an average of 6-7 visits per semester. The breadth and depth of academic assistance requires dedicated and experienced staff in mathematics instruction.
