Emergency Medicine opening in Asheville, NC Independent Contractor Full-time 100k annual ED visits Daily Physician

Shifts:

6a-2p, 7a-3p, 8a-5p, 12p-9p, 1p-11p, 2p-10p, 3p-11p, 4p-1a, 8p-5a, 10p-6a, 11p-7a (subject to change and are dependent upon volumes) Daily APC coverage Cerner First NET EMR 815 bed hospital Comprehensive Stroke Center Level II Trauma Center Outstanding clinical leadership $271/hr for days and $291/hr for nights w/potential for additional $10/hr incentive Sign on: $150,000 for 3 years (first year full payback, second, and third prorated)Responsibilities Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department Assess patient condition Order and interpret diagnostic tests Develop and implement treatment plans Work independently and as part of a team Handle a variety of patient presentations Stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and practices Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance Comply with all hospital policies and proceduresQualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine Strong clinical skills and judgment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
