Hospitalist Physician

At Team Health, we take an integrated, evidence-based approach to rehabilitative care. We are looking for a doctor in medical or osteopathic practice to provide high quality healthcare to our seniors in short-term rehab, long-term care, and assisted living settings within the greater Asheville, NC and surrounding areas. Come work within an experienced integrated care team of physician leaders, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to deliver high-quality holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person medical care for residents in short term skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities from Canton to Colfax, North Carolina
• Provide mentorship and oversight for collaborating clinicians
• Timely pharmacy, acute response and documentation of care
• Clear understanding and implementation of regulatory guidelines
• Attend monthly leadership meetings

Qualifications

• Current physician license (State of North Carolina) and DEA
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook

Compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated range of $367k to $415k annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefit eligible.
