Summer Construction Internship

Frank L. Blum Construction Company (Blum) provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the commercial construction industry that will serve as the cornerstone for the intern’s professional career. The goals of the Blum 10-week summer internship program are to provide meaningful experiences in field work, supervision, and management; allow use of skills learned in the classroom on the job;

provide opportunities to improve problem solving and communications skills; and assist in the transition from student life to professional life.

Interns participate in training sessions throughout the summer to learn more about the operations of Blum’s business. Over the course of the summer, interns are exposed to a variety of skills and tasks across key competency areas. They also participate in team building and social events to build connectivity between interns as well as with Blum employees.

The Blum Internship Program offers positions in the construction field, as well as preconstruction and the fast-growing industry of Virtual Design and Construction.

Interns are paid a competitive hourly wage in addition to a monthly housing/gas stipend.
