Construction Jobsite Quality & Logistics Technician

Position Purpose

The Jobsite Quality & Logistics Technician supports the construction team by maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized jobsites and by reducing day-to-day operational friction for Supervisors, Project Managers, and the PM Assistant.

This role exists to protect production efficiency, improve jobsite consistency, and ensure reliable documentation for accountability—without replacing or undermining field leadership.

Reporting Structure & Authority
  • Direct report to the Director of Construction for:
    • Performance
    • Jobsite standards
    • Accountability
    • Escalation of recurring issues
  • Daily direction and reporting through the PM Assistant for:
    • Jobsite priorities
    • Documentation needs
    • Material logistics
    • Information flow to Project Managers

This role does not manage crews or subcontractors and does not replace supervisor accountability.

Core Responsibilities Jobsite Quality & Cleanliness
  • Visit multiple active residential jobsites daily
  • Monitor jobsite cleanliness, organization, and general condition
  • Identify and document cleanup deficiencies
  • Photograph jobsite conditions for accountability and recordkeeping
Safety & Housekeeping Support
  • Perform basic safety walkthroughs (PPE, access, housekeeping)
  • Flag safety concerns early and report through proper channels
  • Support jobsite consistency with company safety expectations
Documentation & Accountability
  • Document issues related to subcontractor cleanup or damage
  • Support back‑charge documentation (no enforcement or confrontation)
  • Maintain clear photo logs and notes using company systems
Logistics Support
  • Deliver, pick up, or return materials as directed
  • Support supervisors by handling errands that pull them off‑site
  • Help keep projects moving by reducing logistical delays
Team Support
  • Remove day‑to‑day friction for Supervisors and PMs
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with field staff
  • Escalate patterns or recurring issues to the DOC
What This Role Is NOT
  • Not a foreman
  • Not a supervisor
  • Not responsible for schedules or sequencing
  • Not negotiating with subcontractors
  • Not disciplining crews

This role supports leadership—it does not replace it.

Required Qualifications
  • Residential construction or trades experience
  • Strong attention to detail and jobsite awareness
  • Ability to work independently across multiple jobsites
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and documentation
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and move construction materials as needed

  • Jobsite safety experience
  • Familiarity with subcontractor workflows
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Standard work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $20- $25 per hours
