Department Detail – The Program department offers seminars and other public, staff-programmed events that align with the mission of BGTC. The department schedules speakers, emcees, pastors-in-residence, worship leaders and musical artists to enhance each attendee’s experience. It produces event-related collateral material for each event, negotiates agreements with all event platform and support staff and provides accurate reports at the close of each event.
The department also conducts strategic planning to meet the operational goals of BGTC.
Job Summary – This position processes and disseminates Cove event evaluation data, prepares participant notebooks for Personal Spiritual Retreats (PSRs) and Guided Personal Spiritual Retreats (GPSRs), transcribes and disseminates donor thank you cards, completes the annual commitment report and performs registration for assigned programs.
Ministry Requirements
- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
- Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
- Execute the end-to-end processing of event feedback, including accurately typing, tallying, and distributing evaluation summaries for all year-round seminars and events within established timelines
- Serve as the primary backup for the Program Registration Admin, facilitating all aspects of the seminar registration process to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Manage the preparation and distribution of guest materials, including guides, journals, and schedules for Personal Spiritual Retreats (PSRs) and Guided Personal Spiritual Retreats (GPSRs)
- Faithfully execute established procedures for documenting and following up on all "decisions for Christ" made during events and seminars
- Oversee the timely processing and distribution of thank-you notes received from Pastor Renewal Retreats, Military Marriage Retreats, and Gold Star Wives Retreats
- Maintain and update the monthly Commitment Report, ensuring accurate data dissemination to key ministry personnel using designated distribution protocols
