Our branch performance and customer satisfaction hinge on safe, efficient, high-quality installations. You’ll orchestrate people, parts, and processes to keep work moving and standards high, while staying aligned with North Carolina regulatory requirements.
Your Impact- Own the daily installation schedule for a single branch; align crews, materials, and equipment.
- Track and act on KPIs: quality, cycle times, labor utilization, and safety compliance.
- Enforce installation procedures, workmanship criteria, and customer service standards.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting support; elevate obstacles when needed.
- Coordinate job staging, verify equipment readiness, and balance inventory and material allocations.
- Confirm job packets, permits, and instructions are accurate and available for every crew.
- Analyze labor productivity and installation throughput to drive profitability.
- Conduct quality audits and post-install inspections; complete warranty and regulatory documentation.
- Coach technicians/apprentices daily on methods, safety, and equipment handling.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Run safety talks, perform jobsite audits, and inspect tools/equipment.
- Partner with sales and customer service to set realistic timelines and expectations.
- Back up technicians in field conversations with homeowners and site contacts.
- Verify every completed install meets internal quality standards and client expectations.
- Review timecards, verify documentation accuracy, and track materials.
- Maintain compliance with North Carolina HVAC licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Provide inputs for reporting, job costing, and requisitions for materials/equipment.
- 3–5 years in residential HVAC install/production; 1–2 years supervising preferred.
- Deep knowledge of installation processes, equipment, and field best practices.
- Proven team leadership with a strong safety and quality mindset.
- Blueprint/specification reading and manufacturer instruction interpretation.
- Clear communicator and organized problem-solver.
- Familiarity with field service platforms (Service Titan experience a plus).
- H3-T Heating Technician License — required to hold, maintain, or obtain.
- EPA 608 Certification, Universal preferred — required to hold or maintain.
- H3-I Heating Group 3 – Class I Contractor License — strongly preferred; qualifying for residential, commercial, and industrial work.
- SP-PH Special Plumbing & Heating License — strongly preferred; authorizes limited HVAC-related electrical work.
- Valid driver’s license and local travel capability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical schooling preferred.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
