Mechanical Engineer

We design, build and install customized automation solutions for manufacturers. Our track record of continued success and growth requires us to expand our professional staff. We seek an experienced, quality-driven Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

• Interpret customer automation requests and create conceptual and detail designs.
• Ability to convert conceptual designs to complete engineered solutions.
• Ability to create machine structure and use analysis tools to verify design.
• Ability to select mechanical drive components such as motors, belts, shafts, etc
• Generate mechanical prints for machine and component fabrication.
• Capture and document all changes and modifications throughout the course of a project.

• Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Strong understanding and experience using Solid Works
• Proficient in 2D CAD generation and 3D solid modeling
• Experience detailing machined, sheet metal, and 3D printed components
• Must be willing to work in fast paced environment with tight timelines
• Must be able to shift priorities and multitask as needed
• Experience handling multiple projects

Ability to analyze, interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries from vendors and customers. Ability to effectively present information to Engineering Manager and top management.
