Class 1 Temp To Perm Driver

Job Title – HGV C+E Driver

Location:

Ashby‑de‑la‑Zouch

Shifts:

4 on 4 off (overtime available)

Start times: 04:00‑08:00 or 18:00‑20:00

** Unpaid assessment required before start**

• Start times between 04:00 and 08:00
• General haulage drops with curtainsider vehicles
• 1‑3 drops per shift
• Required to strap / unstrap loads

Perm Salary: £16 per hour | £676.71 per week | £35,188.92 per year

£5 meal voucher per shift

• Start times between 18:00 and 20:00
• General haulage drops mixed with Pets at Home runs
• Training to use a Moffett for Pets runs; paid £15 per shift using Moffett
• United with a Pets at Home representative for unlocking/locking stores
• Required to strap / unstrap loads; unload vehicle using Moffett
• Curtain‑sider vehicles
• 3‑4 drops per night

Perm Salary: £18.62 hourly | £746.75 weekly | £38,831 yearly

£5 meal voucher per shift

The client will take on new passes for the Temp to Perm roles. You must complete an assessment before training, and you will be buddied up for a week before working independently.

• Valid full category CE Licence (Class
  1); no experience necessary
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• No DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes (insurance restrictions)
• Minimum age 21 years (insurance criteria)
• Good attitude, able to work independently or with a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Good customer service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements)
