Finance Business Analyst

Finance Business Analyst role at CEVA Logistics.

Our commercial finance team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and data‑driven Finance Business Analyst who will support Ground & Rail operations by producing weekly accounts, financial KPIs, and continuously developing financial cost models against client portfolios. This role offers a blended hybrid working model that allows you to be based at CEVA’s Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch, or from home (or operations) depending on needs.

• Approve weekly management accounts, ensuring checks are conducted and results are agreed with the Finance Business Partner.
• Support the monthly production of client financial review reports and presentations.
• Assist in ensuring invoices are raised accurately.
• Continue developing the portfolio’s finance model.
• Provide insightful and accurate information to all users of the Finance Performance Reports.
• Produce weekly financial KPIs in line with the business control manual and assist in analysing and explaining variations in KPI, budget and forecast performance.
• Assist in the production of monthly outlooks, annual budgets, and forecasts as required.
• Keep informed on cost and volume data sources and lead improvements in financial reporting efficiency.
• Support the Finance Business Partner with any ad‑hoc tasks.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in management accounts and financial reporting, or be a recent AAT graduate looking to step into finance. You should be highly numerate, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and influence decisions. Excellent communication skills, logical thinking, natural problem‑solving ability, IT literacy, and proficiency in MS Excel are essential.
