Full Stack Developer
We’re seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Full-Stack Developer to join a high-impact team supporting mission-critical systems for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In this role, you’ll design and build intelligent, scalable web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, NestJS, and Mongo
DB, while also integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering to deliver contextual, dynamic features.
You’ll play a key role in architecting and delivering innovative solutions that fuse traditional development with next-gen AI experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop scalable, performant full-stack applications using React, Next.js, NestJS, and MongoDB
- Architect and implement AI-driven features including RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and retrieval chains
- Tune prompt templates, embeddings, and contextual data flows to optimize AI output
- Build secure, maintainable RESTful and Graph
QL APIs - Collaborate with designers, PMs, and data scientists to turn complex requirements into working features
- Ensure security, performance, and stability across frontend and backend services
- Participate in peer code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline enhancements
- Stay informed on modern frameworks, AI integration techniques, and best practices
- 3–5 years of experience in Full-Stack Development
- Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, React, Next.js, NestJS, and MongoDB
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying RAG-based AI systems (e.g., LLM APIs, embedding models, vector databases)
- Working knowledge of prompt engineering techniques
- Solid understanding of API design (REST & Graph
QL), authentication, and security best practices - Experience with Git, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Hands‑on experience with Lang Chain, Llama Index, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus
- CI/CD and Dev Ops experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prior experience supporting DHS or federal agencies
