As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns; working conditions may vary by site.

+ Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor entry by checking identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes when directed, and assisting with delivery and vendor check-in procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, fire or water conditions, medical calls, and/or disturbances, and notify the appropriate contacts as required.

+ Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and use site systems such as cameras, radios, and access control tools for security-related operations as authorized.

* + CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ A Guard Card and/or applicable license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
