PositionSecurity Officer - Flex Park Patrol in Ashburn, VA — unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to deter security-related incidents, support access points, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to deter unwanted activity.
- Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors, vendors, and contractors according to location procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuations and/or shelter procedures, and documenting actions taken.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and surveillance systems as assigned, and communicate conditions and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
