Security Guard - Unarmed Foot Patrol

Allied Universal - Up to $18.50/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government education location;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, athletic fields, and perimeter areas to help to discourage unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns;
Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization per site policy, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic during arrivals, dismissals, and special events;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting local public resources when needed, and supporting incident documentation;
Complete reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management
