Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical facility focused on small animal care, including Wellness and Prevention programs. We are equipped for testing and diagnostics, comprehensive surgical procedures, and urgent care to manage complex cases within the hospital. We are located in the Goose Creek Retail Center in Ashburn, VA.

Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician

Location:

Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital – 42755 Creek View Plaza, Ashburn, VA 20147

Compensation
  • $24 - $30 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
  • Full-time position
  • Shifts available: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Must be open to working a rotating Saturday
  • Hospital hours:
    Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM;
    Saturday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM;
    Sunday Closed

Your Impact as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Utilize Your Full Skillset: provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work
  • Be a Leader and Mentor: guide and support the medical team and mentor others
  • Partner with Clients: educate pet owners on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions
  • Contribute to a Positive Culture: train, provide feedback, and maintain high hospital standards
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program
  • Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures
  • Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced situations
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred
