Location

Hybrid position requiring up to 50% travel for client engagements across the Americas. Candidates residing within 25 miles of a DXC office will work onsite two days per week. Preferred locations:
Plano, TX.

Overview

The AMS Portfolio Operations Leader serves as the driving force behind AMS operational excellence, portfolio evolution, and talent development. This strategic role is responsible for developing AMS capabilities, optimizing delivery models, and ensuring the AMS offering remains competitive and aligned with industry trends. The Capability Leader will build strong, diverse teams, foster skill advancement, and drive market differentiation through innovative service design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute the AMS capability roadmap, aligning with industry trends and client transformation needs.
  • Develop and maintain robust delivery models, talent development programs, and knowledge management strategies.
  • Drive portfolio growth through market analysis, offering innovation, and multi‑portfolio alignment.
  • Lead engagement with strategic partners, technology alliances, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Ensure AMS teams are equipped with cutting‑edge skills, certifications, and tools to maximize client impact.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in AMS capability management, talent development, and delivery optimization.
  • Strong understanding of SAP market trends, competitive landscape, and client transformation priorities.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in designing and scaling AMS offerings within global enterprises.
  • Ability to inspire and develop high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of SAP experience, with a focus on AMS, presales/go‑to‑market concepts, product‑development lifecycle, and solution architecture.
  • Proven success in client‑facing roles involving SAP service positioning and deal shaping.
  • Deep understanding of SAP technologies including S/4

    HANA, RISE, and BTP.
  • Experience integrating SAP services into broader enterprise transformation programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, MBA, SAP Solution Architect).
  • Experience with multi‑portfolio pursuits and cross‑domain solutioning.
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., Service Now) and AMS delivery models.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are desired.
Work Environment
  • Remote‑first role with flexibility to support global clients and internal teams. Fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a mix of strategic and tactical responsibilities.
  • Requires engagement across time zones and coordination with diverse stakeholder groups.
