LocationWashington, DC Metro (Hybrid). Hybrid role with 2–3 days onsite at client locations. Candidates within 25 miles of a DXC office are expected to be on-site two days per week.
OverviewA Net Suite Financials Functional Consultant responsible for configuring and optimizing Net Suite ERP in an applications managed services setting. Must have knowledge and working experience of financial processes, including general ledger, month-end close, and accounts payable/receivable. The role involves gathering requirements, configuring the system, providing support, and troubleshooting issues. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential for this role.
Keyresponsibilities
- Requirement gathering:
Work with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into functional Net Suite solutions. - System configuration:
Configure Net Suite to align with client business processes, including financial workflows, general ledger, and reporting. - Implementation and deployment:
Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including data migration from legacy systems. - Optimization and support:
Provide ongoing support and strategic guidance to optimize system performance and user adoption. - Process improvement:
Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements and best practices within Net Suite. - Training and documentation:
Train end-users and create necessary documentation for the system. - Troubleshooting:
Address and resolve issues that arise during and after implementation.
- Experience with Net Suite ERP implementations and functional consulting.
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, month-end close, AP/AR).
- Experience with specific financial workflows like Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is often required.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with business process mapping and data analysis.
- Familiarity with integrations is often a plus.
