Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for configuration, deployment and maintenance of the Services Delivery Platform and QTS Operating System applications. This position requires excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.

• Manage AWS ECS and EKS
• Create infrastructure/pipelines for new services (Spring Boot, Python, Angular)
• Deploy services on DEV/UAT/PROD environments
• Create and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Terraform
• Manage the installation and configuration of solutions
• Troubleshoot failure cases on Development/UAT and Production environments
• Monitor platform health and metrics using AWS Cloud Watch and New Relic Document utilized approach and solution
• Participate in discussions about solutions to support developer applications and needs
• Participate in release management process
• Deploy code and troubleshoot any issue that arises

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience
• Five or more years of Dev Ops related experience, with a focus on Microservices deployment and maintenance
• Extensive AWS experience
• Prior experience working with Linux, Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes, Ansible
• Experience with configuration and support of Terraform and Git Hub Actions
• Experience with the following technologies:
  Postgres, Cassandra, Scripts (bash, Groovy, Python), nginx, Tomcat, AWS Code Artifact, LDAP, Kafka
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of portal software, design, and development
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification
• AWS Dev Ops Engineer Professional Certification

• Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, etc.) when dealing with internal and/or external audiences at all levels of management
• Use organizational skills to determine prioritization and appropriate multitasking
• Focus on scope, tone, and quality of processes and their respective documentation, as well as the associated goals, priorities, deadlines, and weaknesses
• Ability to work independently, with supervision, on a project of varying complexity
