You Are

You are an adaptable HR professional who thrives in a growing, fast‑paced environment. You bring strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, and a passion for building a positive employee experience. You can balance day‑to‑day HR operations with project‑based initiatives, supporting both employees and leadership with professionalism and confidentiality.

You will report to the Human Resources Manager and collaborate closely with leadership, managers, and employees across the organization.

What You'll Do Core HR Operations
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date HR files, records, and documentation.
  • Uphold confidentiality of all employee information and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct periodic audits of personnel files and HR systems to ensure required documents are collected and stored appropriately.
  • Maintain and update HRIS and payroll systems; assist with payroll processing and troubleshooting errors as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees and applicants.
Employee Relations & Support
  • Answer questions related to policies, benefits, PTO, hiring processes, and general HR topics, escalating complex matters to the HR Manager.
  • Support employee relations by documenting issues, assisting with investigations, and ensuring timely follow‑up.
  • Support initiatives that promote a culture of engagement, inclusivity, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist in full‑cycle recruiting, including creating job postings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation, coordinating orientation, and ensuring new hires receive necessary tools and equipment.
Benefits Administration
  • Serve as a liaison to external benefits vendors including medical, dental, disability, life insurance, and retirement providers.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and coordinate annual open enrollment.
HR Programs & Compliance
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Help develop and administer HR policies, procedures, and company‑wide communications.
  • Support employee development initiatives including trainings, workshops, and performance management processes.
Event Planning & Culture
  • Assist in planning and executing company events such as:
  • Benefits enrollment meetings
  • All‑hands sessions
  • Employee recognition events
  • Holiday parties
  • New‑hire orientations and trainings
  • Support culture‑building efforts that foster collaboration and employee engagement.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership on workforce planning and training needs.
  • Help ensure all employees have the tools, resources, and infrastructure needed to be successful in their roles.
What You'll Bring

Qualifications include:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; HR certification is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience with exposure to multiple HR functional areas.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team‑oriented mindset.
